Feelings

Hebrews 4:15-16

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.             Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. “

Our deepest pain is not a skinned knee or a broken arm, it is the emotional pain. The skinned knee heals the broken arm mends. The wound of the spirit and soul can hurt deeper and longer than any other kind of wound…

Jesus experienced all our griefs!

Jesus knew what it was like to be betrayed by his loved one, knew open graves, sicknesses, the pain of broken relationships, being misunderstood, and being abused. He experienced all our feelings and griefs… Feeling are nothing to be afraid of. It is good to admit to God how you honestly feel. It is important to always look to Him for healing these deepest wounds. In the next verse listen to His word of grief and heartbreak.

Hebrews 13:5

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

As he reaches out to you accept it, He love you far more than any man or woman can. He is as close to us as His Word. The Word and Christ are one!
